Summertown Girls Tennis has won the Region 5 Team Championship, and so they are our opponents in the “sectional,” or “sub-state” match. We played them last year, when it was our turn to host substate, but since our courts were in poor repair and slated for demolition, we traveled to Summertown for the match. This year, although it is their turn to host, I was hoping that I could convince their coach to return the favor and bring her team to White House. But she declined my invitation, which means that per TSSAA we have to travel to Summertown again.

So Tuesday 5/16 is Individuals Hendersonville and Thursday 5/18 is graduation. That leaves Wednesday 5/17 for this match. Start time in Summertown is 3PM, so we will leave WHHS after 2nd block, grab a light lunch here in town, and hit the road at 12:30 with plans to arrive in Summertown by 2:30 PM.
